Our first ER visit and hospital stay
Wow..what a weekend we had. After Dale woke up Friday with his swollen face, we were told by the pediatrician to go to the ER for a CAT scan. We got there and got right into the pediatric part. Four hours later we had an IV put in, been sedated for a CAT scan and been really fussy. The ER attending dr decided that based on his blood results, she wanted to admit him. Around 5 we got moved over to the children's hospital and into a room. Dale had some visitors which really helped his mood. Mommy and Daddy were exhausted at this point. It had been a long and stressful afternoon. We ended up staying in the hospital until Sunday around 1. It was a very nice hospital but those walls start closing in fast when you are trying to entertain an active two year old. They determined that Dale got a staph infection in his wound when he busted it open the 2nd time. By Sunday he was really starting to look normal again. Here are some pictures. Thanks for all the well wishes!

All of us on Saturday
Happy little boy to have his IV out and his brace on Henry instead of him!
