Checking out Maddy's new swingset

We went to a cookout at Ryan and Amanda's to have a "house warming" party for Maddy's new playground. The kids loved it! They had a great time running around the house, running through the big "tunnel" under the road and watching the rock crawler toy truck!

While we were there, we witnessed the sweetest big brother moment. There was a little boy around 3 yrs old there and Clara wanted to sit in a chair that was by him. He kept moving the chair when she came near and finally Dale stood up and went over to him, pulled the chair away and said "My little sister wants to sit here" Then he proceeded to move the chair, set up her dinner plate and help her get situated before he stared the little boy down and returned to his own seat. It was so cute and made me so proud that he watches out for her like he does!
